I tried out the Diva Frame Wallet pattern created by Jessica VanDenberg. I used my “trademark” courthouse steps which I simply never tired of making. I think it came out great. I would change the inside fabrics after I made the second one for a sample at Stitched, the shop I work at part time. Having the first wallet under my belt I understood  the process as well as the outcome. It’s very easy to make, especially if you love fussy cutting.

Here’s my first attempt  Diva WalletIMG_0023

This is my second attempt which I was completely pleased with except for the Kaffe Fassett striped fabric needed taming which I didn’t realize until I started sewing. (Live and learn) The weave is too loose – the fabric needed stabilizing first. Otherwise I think it’s perfect.

Diva Wallet for StitchedIMG_0065I I also needed to make a special order dog bandana for a Grateful Dead  fan. I immediately thought TIE DYE! IMG_0055   So had some fun one day. I still need to transfer the images and sew it together. It’s for a huge dog. I hope I didn’t make it too big! Hard to say how large a puppy will grow now, isn’t it?IMG_0066
